Position:  Donor Acquisition Manager #INDGHP Department:  Donated Goods Retail Reports to:  VP of Operations and Logistics Status:  Exempt Goodwill is committed to creating a culture of belonging where all people feel respected and valued. Summary This role is responsible for developing new sources of donation partnerships and ultimately increasing sales revenue. This position will also oversee Store Fronts, Donation Centers and Donation Sites. Continually develops strategies and implement programs to increase donations through corporate big box partnerships, individual donation drives, community partnerships, school & college drives, and other activities, which result in acquiring additional donation sources for Goodwill Keystone Area's Donated Goods division. Duties and Responsibilities Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships taking charge of initiating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders such as local governments, corporations, organizations, educational institutions, and religious organizations within the assigned territory. Drive community engagement and corporate partnerships to enhance donor volume and overall sales revenue. Drives new partnership initiatives with major retailers, manufacturers, educational institutions, and religious organizations. Innovate and implement new donation acquisition strategies, including school drives and community-based initiatives, to expand the donor base. Collaborate closely with municipal governments and local authorities such as county, township, borough, and city governments to elevate awareness of Goodwill Keystone Area's initiatives. Strategically increase participation in community events such as yard sales and clean-up days. Participates in program budgets and policy matters setting ambitious donation acquisition targets. Monitor and evaluate progress to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Assess underperforming donation locations and implement strategic recommendations for enhanced promotion, marketing, or partnership opportunities to boost collection effectiveness. Oversees comprehensive donation tracking to manage and maintain a detailed database of all donation sources, including stores, ADCs, trailers, storefront donation centers, and special events. Ensure accurate and timely data entry to support strategic decision-making. Identifies and resolves issues efficiently with a solutions-oriented approach. Skillfully gather and analyze information to develop and implement effective alternative solutions. Exhibit superior organizational and time management skills, developing and executing realistic action plans and setting strategic goals. Ensure thoroughness and quality in work while continuously seeking improvements and applying feedback to enhance performance. Develops, coordinates and communicates a comprehensive annual calendar of donation events, engaging other organizations and community participants to maximize involvement and impact. Demonstrates proficiency in reading and understanding safety rules, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Capable of drafting routine reports and correspondence effectively. Provides assistance and enhances customer relations by supporting Donor Service Representatives, ensuring smooth operations and positive interactions. Assists in identifying and establishing new locations for Attended Donation Centers, optimizing the collection of donated goods and their subsequent sale through our retail outlets. Promotes an environment of workplace safety. Assures that duties are performed in a safe manner and safety requirements are ad ered to. Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the VP of Operations and Logistics.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; or Associates Degree with two (2) years' experience in the relevant field; or HSD/GED and four (4) years' relevant experience which enables the individual to meet the standards and expectations of the position. Two (2) years experience in sales/account development utilizing cold calling techniques to engage potential customers. Proven record of customer and client relationships in commercial real estate or related field. Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactorily complete a motor vehicle check. Ability to travel within GKA territory. Ability to tow 28ft non CDL trailer to events a plus. Must have the ability to communication effectively, both written and verbal. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products. Must have strong math aptitude. Must have high level of professionalism and ability to uphold organizational values. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
