McLaughlin Research Corporation PURCHASING/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR-MH in Middletown, Rhode Island
McLaughlin Research Corp. is hiring a Purchasing / Accounts Payable Administrator.
ThePurchasing / Accounts Payable Administrator duties include the following:
- Prepare and processes purchase requisitions, generates purchase orders and maintains purchasing records.
- Interact with internal purchasing agents to obtain pricing and product specifications.
- Verify order acknowledgment/pricing and communicates with outside companies to confirm order placement and ensure timely delivery.
- Follow internal procedures for accurate purchase order tracking and obtaining packing slips for material receipt records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Review purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed.
- Record and processes payments for vendor invoices in accordance with internal accounting policies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies in billings/payments.
Education:
Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred, but not required
Preferred Experience: 2 years. Candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Candidate should possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
Full Time Position, 40 hours per week
