Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Midland, Texas

Description

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team based in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will manage the operations of the human resources department, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all HR processes. You will also have the opportunity to engage with employees at all levels and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective management of all aspects of the human resources department

• Facilitate the hiring, transfer, suspension, recall, and promotion of employees

• Address and resolve work-related problems and employee concerns

• Oversee the modification of compensation and benefits policies to maintain competitiveness and legal compliance

• Advise management on organizational policy matters, recommending necessary changes

• Conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude towards organizational objectives

• Maintain accurate employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions

• Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to employees

• Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence

• Evaluate employee performance for the purpose of recommending promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action

• Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data

Requirements

• Proven experience in ADP - Financial Services, showcasing proficiency in managing financial aspects within the HR realm.

• Demonstrable skills in using ADP Workforce Now to streamline HR processes and workflows.

• Experience with Ceridian software, underlining the ability to work with different HR management systems.

• Proficiency in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, demonstrating an understanding of modern HR tools.

• In-depth knowledge of Benefit Functions, showcasing the ability to manage and administer employee benefits effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and efficient interaction with all levels of the organization.

• Strong understanding of Compliance within the HR field, ensuring all procedures and policies adhere to legal and company standards.

• Proven record in managing Employee Relations, emphasizing the ability to handle conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment.

• Expertise in Hiring Processes, showcasing the ability to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in the energy/natural resources sector.
