Saint-Gobain Project Engineer in MILAN, Ohio

What’s the job?

  • Monitor and maintain network PCs, including troubleshooting, migration, and hardware replacements

  • Ensure network infrastructure integrity through battery backups, UPS maintenance, and installation of punch down panels

  • Address equipment issues like reboots and cable reseating

  • Manage access points, including troubleshooting and coordinating upgrades

  • Oversee the phone system, handling user needs, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination

  • Maintain and troubleshoot fire systems, security systems, and security cameras

  • Manage IR cameras overseeing installations and upgrades

  • Set up and maintain contractor sign-in kiosks

  • Oversee all plant printers including installation and troubleshooting

  • Support new IT projects and initiatives, server maintenance, collaborating with corporate IT as needed

What do you bring?

  • Four year degree in computer science or electrical engineering

  • Proficient working knowledge of industrial automation and PLC’s

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma a plus
