Job Title: 1st or 3rd Shift Assembler

Pay Rate: $18.00-$19.03/hour paid weekly

Job Description:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble components accurately

• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to build and assemble products according to specifications

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Adhere to safety and quality control procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools effectively

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Work Environment

• The position is based in a manufacturing facility with a loud noise level, requiring hearing protection.

• While 95% of work is indoors, large bay doors may expose workers to outdoor weather conditions.

• Work conditions can become dirty by the end of the shift.

• Employees must supply their own steel toe or composite toe boots, while other required PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, and arm shields are provided.

• Tools for the job are also issued.
