Global Sales and Services: Associate Consultant—Presales

Become a member of our Customer Outcome team as an Associate Consultants for our Genesis Program. Through this program, you will undergo 4 months of training that will provide you with the tools needed to contribute to customer projects. After completing the Genesis Program, you will begin working closely with customers to provide software solutions to help them realize their Comprehensive Digital Twin. Helping our customers blur the boundaries between industry domains by integrating the virtual and physical, hardware and software, design, and manufacturing worlds.

Scope, plan and execute presentation demos and proofs-of-concept as required to ensure prospects clearly understand the value which can be generated by the Siemens suite of software.

Participation in the sales process to facilitate sales of software. Engage with potential and existing customers to understand customer needs and high-level requirements.

Support activities which include create presentations, provide demonstrations, participate in client facing meetings, interact in a complex selling environment (both internally and externally). Utilizing knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, prepare and deliver demonstrations of SISW products and solutions to customers in support of selling efforts.

Program Requirements:

  • Recent college graduate with minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or computer science

  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company

  • Willing and able to travel

  • Open to possible relocation within the U.S.

Presales Solutions Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers on model-based enterprise solutions in the Siemens Digital Industries Software Portfolio

  • Utilize knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation to prepare and deliver demonstrations of SISW products and solutions to customers

  • Contribute to the response to Requests for Proposals/Requests for Information, to help complete sales Interface with the implementation/project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery

  • Support efforts to improve relationships with customers

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The total cash compensation range for this position is $86,500 to $91,500 with 7.5% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
