We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Professional to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the global Distribution Center organization. The chosen candidate will have functional responsibility for the design, execution, and improvement of systems, processes, and teams to deliver Genie finished equipment to global customers while cost effectively meeting expectations of quality and On Time Delivery. The global Distribution Center organization is located across (15) global locations and focuses on the receipt, PDI inspection, reconfiguration, loading, and shipment of all Genie AWP machinery. The Sn. Director, Global Distribution will drive global best practices and improvement initiatives in our distribution and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes and locations in all regions to maximize throughput while meeting Genie's commitment to Quality by Design.Additionally, this role will be responsible for designing and implementing the Distribution Center of the Future strategic roadmap to increase Genie's use of automation and digital workforce management. The successful candidate will work closely with other functions including Materials Management, Quality, Sales, and Operations to ensure Genie can successfully support volume ramps globally while maintaining best-in-class quality customer deliveries. This position will also collaborate with design engineering through Genie's New Product Development (NPD) process to ensure new machine designs and packaging solutions are in line with transportation market requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate closely with Global Logistics teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective transport of machines to customers and Genie Distribution Centers including carrier selection and monitoring Responsible for carrier management and adherence to expectations through Genie Integrated Logistics network. Ensures strong management system to drive carrier performance with actions Ensure Distribution Center standards are designed to meet local customer requirements Ensure factory quality and inspection standards are coordinated to support global DC requirements Development and deployment of global digital Daily Management Systems at all DC locations Apply key lean principles and tools in regional DC operations to identify and eliminate waste Assess finished goods storage and handling facilities, capaciti
