Description

GMC Prep School announces an opening for a High School Science teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Georgia Military College Prep School is a K - 12th grade public, independent, military, college-preparatory school with a mission to develop the intellect and elevate the character of the 890+ students we serve.

This position will be for a full-time faculty member who will teach High School Science (Forensics and Human Anatomy and Physiology). The position also includes coaching duties and/or club/activity sponsorship. This position holds a 10-month contract and pays State-scale along with State Benefits including membership in the Georgia Teacher Retirement System.

Please submit proof of valid Georgia teaching certificate or verification of enrollment in an appropriate teaching program that qualifies teaching under Professional Standard Guidelines by attaching a scanned teaching certificate or enrollment verification to the application.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement -- A current teaching certificate in the state of Georgia or the ability to obtain one within 3 years.

Preferences -- Teaching experience in High School Science
