Job Title: Junior Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Superintendent who can manage smaller projects under $1M and is looking for long-term growth opportunities to advance to a full Superintendent role. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, working with government customers daily (quality control, safety, etc.), planning, assigning, and directing work according to the scope of work. You will inspect work in progress to ensure it conforms to quality standards and applicable codes, manage scheduling, and successfully complete the commissioning of newly installed systems as required. Additionally, you will review project specifications, oversee the hiring and termination of subcontractors as necessary, and develop Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects. Work Environment

Our client is a General Contractor in Millersville, MD, that performs projects for GSA, USACE, NAVFAC, and Smithsonian agencies in the DC Metro area (VA, DE, MD, DC). Work will be performed in the Washington DC area supporting these agencies, including various job sites along the DC corridor such as the Smithsonian Institute and USDA.
