Description

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Greater Asheville, NC area. This role offers an exciting opportunity where you will be tasked with various responsibilities including handling Accounts Payable (AP) and assisting with Accounts Receivable (AR) .

Responsibilities:

• Handle and manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Provide assistance and support with Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks as required

• Contribute to month-end support tasks and activities

• Utilize ERP system for various accounting tasks

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Perform general ledger tasks and journal entries as part of the accounting process

Requirements

• Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations processes.

• Proficient in maintaining and managing General Ledger.

• Capable of creating and maintaining Journal Entries accurately.

• Knowledge and experience in ERP system

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
