Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a technical writer who has the right composition of knowledge, experience, team play, spirit and drive, to join a dynamic team that develops leading edge test and measurement products. You would be creating user manuals and guides that explain to end-users how to use our software and hardware systems. Top engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication, consumer electronics and computer products.

Detailed Description:

Write, edit, and revise documentation for product development, support services, and customer/end-user activities...

Retrieve, organize, analyze, and synthesizes subject matter and transform it into easy-to-understand information for specific audiences.

Work in a multi-disciplinary team that designs and produces complex and high-performance systems.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering related field – a must

Skills, Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering discipline working with software and/or hardware systems.

  • Excellent writing skills; ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand way.

  • Demonstrate a wide acumen for publishing tools, including Word, Visio, image editors

  • Strong organizational skills and analytical ability.

  • Experience representing complex electronic products in a technical writing capacity.

  • Open minded, quick learner, able to solve problems in a complex system

  • Team Player, good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills – a must!

  • Creative, likes challenges

Preferred:

  • Adobe FrameMaker experience – a plus!

  • Experience with collaboration tools and configuration management tools.

  • Experience with one or more of the following protocols: PCIe, USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SAS, SATA, Infiniband, Fibre Channel – a plus!

  • MadCap Flare experience – a plus!
