As a member of the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis, the Data Analyst role provides accurate, reliable and actionable information to stakeholders across campus to enable effective decision-making in support of student success. The role is responsible for managing data applications/systems used by the office, like course evaluations, faculty success, and internal and external data requests. This role has the option of working HYBRID-REMOTE after a successful orientation and training period. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI and requires working on-campus multiple days every week. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Course Evaluation System Management Serve as the primary administrator of the system and first point of contact Plan, organize, and execute course evaluation process each semester, including audit process and data import process Provide support to department chairs, deans and faculty on system use, including clear communication of process and timelines Develop and manage all reports, including reports used for promotion and tenure dossiers Develop and manage data and visualizations in dataMarq Maintain course evaluation website 2. Faculty Success System Management Serve as the primary administrator of the Faculty Success system Manage and audit API logic to populate users and user data within the system Lead the process to develop meaningful reports for colleges and departments Provide support to users on system use, including clear communication of process and timelines Maintain the faculty success website Support the leader of faculty affairs in the development of a strategic plan for the system. Experience in implementing and/or applying information technology or systems to one or more business functions/operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong attention to detail involving data, systems, and documentation. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Master\'s degree in business, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, social or behavior science or another related field Experience with relational databases and in querying enterprise data systems and warehouse environments. Experience with project management.
