Job Summary The Lead Retail Sales Associate is the first point of contact for Museum retail store visitors and will be responsible for providing a positive, enjoyable learning experience for all visitors. The Lead Retail Sales Associate is an integral member of our Museum team, responsible for day to day operations in The Shop. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate superior customer service both in person and on the phone. Conduct customer transactions/interactions in a professional manner. Help maintain a neat and clean Shop environment. Assist with the receiving, tagging, and stocking of merchandise. No set schedule. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and some evenings and holidays when needed. Manage multiple duties simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Education Specifications High school diploma or GED/HSED is required (Must be 18 years or older) Experience Requirements Required Two years of previous experience in a customer experience, sales or retail work environment Ability to understand and resolve visitor questions or issues while keeping the organization\'s goals in mind Demonstrated ability to co-lead a team. Outstanding customer services skills with the ability to understand and resolve guest questions or issues while keeping the organizational goals in the forefront. Flexibility in scheduling required including weekends and holidays in addition to some evening hours as required by the business. Must be willing to learn all aspects of customer-facing job duties within the Museum environment. Proven ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred Knowledge of Harley-Davidson history or brand is a plus.
