JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description As a Logistics Analyst your role will be to execute logistics plans for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensure product arrives complete, on time and in a cost effective manner. You will also maintain appropriate records, prepare reports and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. You will do this by: Providingfrontline support for daily logistics operations, resolving issues and ensures on time delivery of products Participatingin developmentand implementation oflogistics plans affecting the delivery and distributionof finished products Identifyingand analyzingroot causes of issues and workingwith logistics partners to develop solutions and performance improvement measures Cultivating relationships with other departments to understand their customers needs and propoinge ideas to exceed expectations Documentingand updatingStandard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed Maintainingdepartment shipment data and records, runningmonthly report, identifiyingtrends and opportunities for cost savings Performingother duties as assigned You are the type of person who is/has: Comprehensive experience with Microsoft office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work Well-developed knowledge of ERP systems like SAP Well-developed ability to meet deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented Solid knowledge of the principles of transportation logistics Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact with diverse groups of people Ability to work independently and as part of a team Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements Three years experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain or related field Physical & Environmental Requirements Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get work done.
