The Reimbursement Specialist III - Remote performs the billing and collection activities necessary to facilitate the payment for the services provided Your Impact Prepares reimbursement submissions on behalf of Hanger Clinic for complex claims in a medical or managed care environment Functions as an advocate for and a resource to clinic administration in the areas of reimbursement and managed care Conducts analytical research and provides expertise on pricing/reimbursement, precertification and predetermination matters, claim appeals process and other related steps to ensure that complex claims are processed with a high degree of accuracy Maintains and supports relationships with customers and insurance/managed care organizations to ensure a successful reimbursement program Works closely with field, staff, and may provide training on relevant reimbursement issues.
