JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer \| ServiceNow for a contract working remotely lasting through December 31, 2024 with an insurance company in Franklin, WI. This is 100% remote. Summary: As a ServiceNow developer, we will be developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform including custom applications, integrations, and workflows. Responsibilities will include designing and configuring ServiceNow modules, creating and maintaining new and existing code within the platform, and developing and customizing applications, business rules, and client scripts. This position will require strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of ITSM principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: This role will be focused on health scan & security finding remediation Provide thought leadership, influence peers in and outside of domain, vendor relationships, and organization vertical. Develop solutions that take into account, availability, security, compliance, privacy and legal requirements. Thoughtfully and practically introduce concepts and technologies from the industry to solve important problems. Work with many teams and individuals in a cohesive, achievable plan that aligns with goals and deadlines. Create solutions that are consistently successful across multiple dimensions, including performance, scalability, robustness and maintainability. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years professional ServiceNow experience. 2-4 years of professional IT experience. 2-4 years experience with at least one OS/hosting platform. 2-4 years experience with Scripting development. 2-4 years experience with networking knowledge. 2 years experience with modern development and scripting languages. Experience with CICD concepts, and tools, branching strategies and leveraging knowledge to assist in delivering an infrastructure as a product. Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise, and in adjacent domains. Solid understanding of traditional or cloud computing technologies including Networking, Compute, Storage, Development, Data, Operations, or Security. Experience creating, delivering and supporting highly available architectures. Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
