Join us as our Senior Warehouse Operator Job Description and Duties: Pick and pack orders from warehouse and loads shipments to customers using a forklift. Handle materials and documentation according to procedures. Plan and coordinate material transfers to and from warehouses to ensure materials are on- hand to meet production schedules and customer delivery dates. Complete daily equipment maintenance safety checks. Ensure warehouses are kept clean and organized. Support production lines by staging raw materials and readying finished goods for shipment or storage. Engage in daily lean performance board meetings focused on driving improvement, safety, quality, and delivery. Check product batch numbers, expiry dates and pallet IDs for accuracy prior to shipping to warehouse and customer. Assist with filling and shipping sample requests. Schedule UPS, LTL and truckload shipments using on-line platforms. Assist with basic production line assembly and miscellaneous tasks as requested. Coordinate waste shipments for recycling and disposal. Assist with scheduled cycle counts and site inventory. Use SAP to create picklists, perform goods receipts, check stock and make inventory adjustments. Plan and coordinates special projects and leads project teams as needed. Lead problem solving and improvement initiatives. Maintain standard operating procedures ensuring they are up to date and consistent with current processes. Reflect and encourages a high level of positive, professional communication and collaboration with all team members. Reports and escalates problems to management team. Ensure all required documentation is present, complete and accurate prior to product shipment. Support coordination of export shipments as needed. To succeed you must: Must be able to operate forklift in a safe manner and successfully complete fork-lift training and driving test as directed by EHS Specialist. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more unassisted. Possess the ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems. Possess the ability to read and understand directions and procedures. Possess the ability to communicate well with teammates and follow directions. Must be able to arrive at work on-time and have good attendance.
