JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Server Company: Fresh & Safe Location: Milwaukee, WI Goals/Objectives of Position: This is the function is the most visible to customers and has a great impact on customer satisfaction. Expected to resolve issues creatively and effectively at job sites as they arise while communicating them back to Fresh & Safe. As the primary interface with customers, the goal is to be the eyes and ears\' of F&S to proactively identify and report issues. The primary objective is meeting the needs of the customer. Essential Duties: Works closely with Customer Care Advocate Specialist Set up the serving deck as directed at work site locations Serve breakfast and lunch as scheduled. Notify the Customer Care Advocate if food quantities are insufficient to prevent under-serving. Meal counting as assigned Implementing the 10-Step process Ensure food is handled properly to maintain temperatures according to standards and correct any problems. Watch for and either address or report any issues impacting the safety, quality, or timeliness of transportation. Maintain a safe job site environment to protect customers\' health by cleaning and sanitizing work areas. Apply basic principles of food service sanitation and safety for equipment, food and the maintenance of the facility. Follow procedures for identifying and accommodating portion control of food items, food and equipment transportation which adhere to school and federal guidelines and regulations. Must be flexible with own assignments and show a willingness to accommodate work schedule to meet changing staff needs Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) Must have or preparing to acquire Serve Safe certification Two years in a food service environment preferred. Server and/or kitchen experience a plus. Knowledge & Skills Required: Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and food services safety. Demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic Pleasant personality, courteous and friendly Ability to verbally exchange and convey information to customers, general public, coworkers, and managers Interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively work as a team and accept direction, feedback, and training. Good eye and hand coordination Attention to safety and health practices Delivering excellent customer service Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment to maintain positive work environments and customer relations Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a 30 pound load with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds.
