This is a position with global grade 17This position reports to Field Service ManagerYour role and responsibilities Perform annual preventative maintenance and on call emergency repairs of ABB robotic system equipment in the field Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work as per customer order and expectations and makes recommendations to avoid such issues in the future Prepare and review material lists needed for service activity and ensure all material, parts and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities Provide system integration support of ABB robots to designated build shops as well as the end users Perform robot program changes such as logic, software and path alterations through either offline or online methodology Have mechanical aptitude for performing any mechanical component repair or replacement Provide robot specific or systems training in an informal environment to customers as required Have knowledge of PLC(Programmable Logic Controllers) communications and other robotic peripheral equipment Ability to communicate with customers (external and internal) in high pressure situations and maintain strong customer relationships Ability to be proactive to support customer needs Execute work on a first time right approach with customers and ensures the job is done on time and as per quality standards Strong initiative and drive for personal development Capable of traveling on short notice and handle rigors of air travel Submit sales leads for additional robotic and system opportunities Communicate work location and status daily Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experience Prepare all documents and customer reports to...
