TAPCO Sign Shop Assembler Onsite in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

What you will accomplish as a Sign Shop Assembler at TAPCO: Ensuring that signs are laminated and trimmed according to quality standards. This position is also responsible for adequately packaging signs to eliminate potential damage. When necessary, this position will help in other areas of the Sign Shop performing a variety of functions, for example, packaging or punching holes in blanks, washing and preparing silk screens, etc... This position reports to the Sign Shop Supervisor. Position Qualifications: Laminates die-cut letters, numbers, and signs with the proper sheeting using the laminating machine Trims, by hand, excess sheeting around the edge of the sign Checks the quality of work to ensure the sign meets quality standards Counts signs and packages them per guidelines Packages signs per guidelines to eliminate potential damage Ensures the correct number of products are packaged together Pulls materials from inventory and stores any extra material back into inventory Labels finished signs Cleans work area and follows all company safety rules and 5S procedures Performs other essential warehouse duties as assigned by Supervisor Required Experience High school diploma or equivalent Prior warehouse experience within the industry preferred About Us: At TAPCO, our mission is to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
