JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Perceptiv connected products engineering team, responsible for leading the hardware, firmware, and mechanical design of our world class condition monitoring solutions. The Senior Engineering Manager will lead internal and external technology resources to implement new IoT solutions as well as maintain existing products. This position will also play an integral role in defining our connected products roadmap, including sensor and gateway solutions, and will be a key contributor to our Intelligent Powertrain strategy. Firsthand experience designing, implementing, and deploying IoT solutions including sensor applications is desired. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the design, development, and testing of Perceptiv connected products ensuring alignment with the company\'s strategic objectives. Analyze sensor, automation, and IoT technology trends to lead the development of technology roadmaps, and align resources and skill sets with current and future development needs. Provide technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work, create engineering schedules and budgets, and allocate resources as required to accomplish goals. Create and establish engineering design, test, and quality protocols; manage field failures and execute best course of action based on root cause analysis. Support the sustainment of released products through design improvements, functionality enhancements, and obsolescence management. Drive urgency in project schedules and accountability for meeting key project metrics. Evaluate and assess emerging technology to support product differentiation and portfolio growth of our next generation products. Ensure design compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic requirements. Foster an innovative culture that will push technology boundaries to create differentiated, market leading products. Collaborate with engineering leaders across the organization to leverage technology and share standard processes.
