JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical or Industrial Engineer with a strong background in mechanical automation, part handling, manufacturing and project management. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Ability to guide the design, specify, and review detailed drawings for mechanical material handling systems, Induction tooling and components: Machine bases, actuators, pneumatics, sensors, geared actuators, servos, cams, bearings, pumps, heat exchangers, water-containment systems, induction coils, bus bars, guarding, etc. Utilize technical data (i.e. Machinery\'s handbook, internet, vendor catalogs, etc.) to create robust designs. Proven ability to lead a team of Engineers on various projects Knowledge of production techniques including Machining, Fabricating, Welding, Assembly, 3D printing Generate and update technical drawings using standard design conventions, tolerance, and technical drawing standards as required. Collaborate with Radyne Engineering and Manufacturing personnel in developing improvements in tooling, manufacturing methods, machining, and material usage. Creativity in how work assignments are completed and use of discretion and independent judgment required. Write specifications for subcontractor quotation, inspection/runoff requirements and manage to ensure on time and budget performance. Address any problems encountered in the fabrication and construction of experimental or production machines. Detail and check part drawings, process ECO\'s, and create/maintain BOM\'s. Assist in the assembly and troubleshooting of systems if needed, to help achieve goals set by project timeline. Completes projects on time and within budget. Working under the guidance of the Mechanical Design Engineering Manager. Job Requirements: BS in Engineering - emphasis on mechanical. Proficiency in Solidworks or equivalent 3D modeling. Knowledge of production techniques including Machining, Fabricating, Welding, Assembly a plus. Knowledge of screws, threads, materials, strength of materials, correct fit, and a wide knowledge of various fabrication techniques. Must have good technical writing and oral communication skills. Robotics Experience a plus. Experience with Adept PDM and AutoCAD a plus.
