Brady Corporation Technical Services Intern in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
What We Need:
As a Technical Service Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience by updating daily management reports, assisting with special projects, and working with technicians to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency. You'll also create and update SOPs and Work Instructions, while supporting departmental functions under supervision.
What You'll Be Doing:
Run and update daily management reports
Assist with special projects as requested by R&D, Sales, Marketing, Etc.
Work with Service Technicians and Coordinators to ensure Continuous Improvement of our productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for individual technicians, including drafting or revising Work Instructions as needed.
Observing, assisting, and servicing (under supervision) daily departmental functions, as necessary.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
Sophomore standing or higher and in good academic standing
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google Suite (Sheets and Docs)
Ability to problem solve, apply critical thinking and analysis.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions independently.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Skilled at multitasking while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Highly adaptable to a changing, fast paced environment.
