WWBIC VBOC Administration Assistant in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Data entry and reporting on client information in the Neoserra databases. Assist in the preparation & coordination of class materials, materials/handouts for presenters, facilitators & class participants. Ensure all program-related events for the VBOC are communicated & implemented in an accurate and timely way. Assist the VBOC Directors and Vice President for Programs and Operations with other special events where WWBIC is a partner, i.e. logistical planning, preparing, socialization, and others as needed. Assist with marketing of services by using a template to design class promotional material for upcoming classes/events. Assist in supporting technology/data needs, i.e. Neoserra; constant contact, Facebook, Instagram, and others as needed. Assist in overall mission of the VBOC @ WWBIC by working in team environment to effectively complete other duties as assigned. Lead all social media components (i.e. posting, socializing) in the tri-state areas (WI, IL, and MN) OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer and assist others in answering business education and VBOC related questions and concerns. Speak on the VBOC @ WWBIC\'s behalf as needed. Attend events as a VBOC representative and attend meetings as required. Miscellaneous duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative support position. High School Degree or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. Must possess the ability to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines. Must have strong organizational & communication skills. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and have data entry/database experience. The ability to manage large volumes of work in a busy office and take direction from multiple people is vital. Must work collaboratively with diverse groups. Valid driver\'s license and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required as position requires local travel and evening/occasional weekend work can be expected. The ideal person is flexible, positive, and has a sense of humor. Must present a positive, professional appearance at all times. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally more sedentary in nature with movement required. Work is primarily performed within an office environment with standard office equipment although some travel is required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
