Description

Robert Half is collaborating with a reputable organization in Milwaukie, Oregon to seek a Contract Employee Relations Specialist to provide comprehensive support to their HR department. This position is fully on-site and parking is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve conflicts and gather feedback from employees

• Address employee concerns and recommend conflict resolution strategies

• Present recommendations to various managers

• Collaborate with managers to conduct employee interviews and document findings

• Provide coaching and facilitate development training

• Manage employee terminations and exit interviews

• Analyze exit survey data to identify areas for improvement

• Operate within company policies and procedures

• Provide general HR support as required

  Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist with a focus on employee relations

• Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Proven understanding local, state and federal laws

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a high-stress and confidential environment

• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
