Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Digital Pathology Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate The Digital Pathology Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the operation of whole slide imaging systems and software platforms performing high quality scans associated quality assessments and maintaining equipment The Digital Pathology Coordinator will work closely with the pathology laboratory staff and pathologists to ensure that the digital imaging and analysis of specimens meet the required standards for accurate diagnosis

Job Responsibilities:

    1. Works in conjunction with Site Manager to oversee digital pathology workflow
    2. Operates and maintains whole slide imaging systems and software platforms
    3. Prepares and scans slides for digital analysis
    4. Performs quality control assessments and quality assurance of digital pathology images
    5. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards
    6. Collaborates with pathology laboratory and other team members to optimize workflows
    7. Performs any data entry associated with digital pathology systems and manage data sets as needed
    8. Troubleshoots technical issues and communicates with technical support teams
    9. Maintains equipment and perform regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is properly functioning nbsp;
    10. Manages digital slide inventory
    11. Under direction of Operations manager works on OSR related projects nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;
    12. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in the major of biology chemistry or physical sciences from an accredited college or university 3 year experience working in anatomic pathology Excellent computer Microsoft Office Excel and project presentation skills Working knowledge of improvement methodology

Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience Master s Degree CPHQ/CPPS Lean Six Sigma certification

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $70,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
