Description We are in the hunt for a proficient Accountant to be a part of our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Accountant, you will engage in the processing of invoices, management of purchase orders, and procurement. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity with a focus on maintaining and tracking financial transactions, ensuring financial records are accurate and resolving any discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Keep track of purchase orders and monitor departmental expenditures

• Collaborate with the procurement department to streamline financial operations

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records

• Assist in processing contract documents and correspondence

• Apply relevant project funding codes when necessary

• Work with the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for efficient management of resources

• Ensure all accounts payable and receivable are handled in a timely manner

• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data

• Maintain balance sheet accounts, ensuring they reflect correct financial status. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of Cl Programming

• Experience with Concur

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skills in Auditing

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account
