Genesis10 Business Side Project Manager - HR in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Side Project Manager - HR for a contract ending December 31, 2024 working a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Minneapolis, MN. The purpose of this position is to actively drive the implementation of project deliverables defined in a project charter while ensuring the budget, scope, schedule, risk and quality meet specific success criteria. Throughout the life cycle of the project, this role is expected to ensure key stakeholders are informed and engaged and ensures company and industry standard project management methodologies and tools are utilized. This candidate will be working with the program's overall recognition program, in addition to the Chairman's Award for Recognition program. This role is responsible for: Ensuring the project deliverables are strategically aligned with business objectives and defined for the team Defining, estimating and scheduling project tasks and interdependencies to achieve the scope through a clearly defined project plan/work breakdown structure Identifying project resource requirements and working with Steering Committee/Project Sponsor/Project Management Office/Project Management Competency Center to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments Holding resources accountable for delivering on the project plan, including providing coaching and mentoring of resources Adhering to the approved project methodology for project management and maintains project artifacts and records Identifying and tracking key measures of success for the project - Analyzing project performance, creating cost benefit analysis and identifying optimal solutions that minimize the negative impact and tradeoffs Implementing corrective actions to ensure project success and facilitates project change requests Consistently providing internal and external stakeholder communications and progress reports that effectively outline the project status, risks, issues and action plans to ensure project success Escalating to the Steering Committee/Project Sponsor risks and issues with potential significant impact Working effectively with business partners, vendors, technology, and project management staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by all affected constituencies Transitioning project into daily business operations at the end of the project Responsibilities: Responsible for the end-to-end coordination of key activities related to the Chairman's Award for Excellence (CAE) to execute the company's notable achievements recognition strategy, in partnership with leader and internal and external partners. Independently coordinate CAE program operations and support a positive employee and leader experience through effective resolution of issues, efficient and timely responses to employee and leader questions, and successful planning and execution of global recognition program sponsored activities and events. Partner with Corporate Communications and leadership to develop and deliver CAE program communications that contribute to the overall recognition strategy, drive program participation and enhance employee engagement. Engage with business unit recognition program champions to support and promote CAE program activities, approvals and selection. Partner with team to review and track annual program budget and metrics to measure program success. Partner with SMM and team to plan and execute global CAE winner celebrations globally. Deliver high quality work, effectively manage deliverables and implement best practices from prior program results. Work with vendor as needed to ensure service level agreements are met and invoices are processed accurately. Escalate issues as appropriate. Qualifications (Must have): BA and/or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience. The ability to balance approach to political, economic, social, technological, and administrative factors Competency in adapting to changing environment and ambiguous situations Attention to detail and ability to drive results (Executive and Senior roles) Ability to act independently with little direction - Desire to satisfy requirements from multiple customers/stakeholders The ability to quickly sift through concepts and drill down into actionable steps - Solid understanding of Project Management methodology, tools and techniques, including Capability Maturity Model integrated (CMMi) methods Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex projects from design to delivery - Objective decision-making ability, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills The ability to adjust quickly to changing situations and the ability to drive results through ambiguous environments or unexpected obstacles Top Requirements: 3-5 years of program/project management in HR experience High degree of detail-orientation and organization Intermediate understanding of systems, software and ticketing systems like JIRA MS Office products skill set - skilled in PPT presentations, MS Excel (pivot tables and vlookups) Vendor and supplier management skill set Ability to manage complex stakeholders in a matrix environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to keep detailed task lists, manage issue trackers and execute efficiently Resourceful and able to offer new ideas/solutions Able to escalate issues effectively and manage/mitigate risk for the organization and to the program/project deliverables and timelines Candidate must be independent and a self- starter If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
