Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

In this role, you will be traveling up to 50% of the time nationwide. In this exciting role within our Industrial Controls team, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment at client sites across North America. This role will be delivering top-notch systems and services to our clients nationwide. You will work closely with our engineering and project team to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing operation of control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering and project team to ensure successful deployment and ongoing operation of control systems.

• Travel up to 50% of the time to client sites across North America.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in field service and commissioning.

• Strong knowledge of mechatronics and PLC programming.

• At least 3 years of experience in related fields.

• Familiarity with Google Suite, including Sheets and Docs.

• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate company vehicles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to use a digital multimeter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• B.S., A.S., A.A.S. or equivalent technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

• Knowledge of various automation and control platforms is a plus, i.e., Allen-Bradley PLCs.

• Must be organized and willing to work in different conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
