Job Title: Controls Technician
Job Description
In this role, you will be traveling up to 50% of the time nationwide. In this exciting role within our Industrial Controls team, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment at client sites across North America. This role will be delivering top-notch systems and services to our clients nationwide. You will work closely with our engineering and project team to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing operation of control systems.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment.
Collaborate closely with the engineering and project team to ensure successful deployment and ongoing operation of control systems.
Travel up to 50% of the time to client sites across North America.
Essential Skills
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.
Proficiency in field service and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of mechatronics and PLC programming.
At least 3 years of experience in related fields.
Familiarity with Google Suite, including Sheets and Docs.
Valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate company vehicles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to use a digital multimeter.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
B.S., A.S., A.A.S. or equivalent technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Knowledge of various automation and control platforms is a plus, i.e., Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Must be organized and willing to work in different conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
