Nestle Customer Development Manager - Target in Minneapolis, Minnesota

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Customer Development, Omnichannel is responsible for the functional management of Ecommerce sales for Target for the Nestle Health Science portfolio. Position is fully remote, however, a location of Minneapolis, MN is preferred due to proximity to the Target Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strategic plans to deliver revenue and profit growth objectives for Nestle Health Science and their respective customer base.

• Complete collaboration with internal retailer teams to drive overarching retailer strategies that compliment in store and online.

• Develop joint business plans with their specific ECommerce customer base.

• Deliver targeted budget plans and new product distribution goals.

• Execute brand and category growth strategy in conjunction with the customer’s goals & objectives

• Manage relationship and regular engagement with retailer’s digital media team & agency partners. (i.e. Roundel, Flywheel etc.)

• Own & develop search strategies based on retailer and brand objectives

• Collaborate with media, creative, and digital teams to ensure plan execution

• Identify new opportunities for growth; develop and implement strategic sales plans in accordance with corporate goals.

• Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives and liaise with Director to develop operational plans to manage execution and measure results.

• Educate our business partners on our products, retail goals, and measurement of success.

• Deliver customer presentations that show innovation, promotions, communicate pricing, etc.

• Manage daily business in partnership with customers, including: UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics and inventory management, content optimizations, online gap analysis and Target+ opportunities.

• Sell-in new products and all promotions to qualified retailers; ensure full-line distribution of products (new & existing items).

• Responsible for working with agencies to accurately track and account for all trade activities: system input, trade fund management, direct sales forecasting, and projection activities for the company.

• Manage Trade/retail media budget and monitor spending efficiency that focus on a strong ROI/ROAS.

• Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency.

• Ability to travel up to 25%

• Perform other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years consumer product sales experience required, preferably online.

• Target.com experience is strongly preferred

• Experience establishing new customer relationships and distribution opportunities

• Experience in consumer goods and Health & Wellness is highly preferred.

• Prior experience working with Roundel or similar affiliate to determine customer needs and establish the most effective pricing and promotional activities that will increase sales and market share for the company and its customers.

• Financial acumen; experience managing P&L or budget

• Knowledge regarding Project Management, and experience with setting up and managing projects in a complex, fast-moving environment.

• Knowledge regarding relationship management, experience and mindset to work with partners in building initiatives that deliver on goals.

• Strong acumen of upper and lower funnel tactics needed to drive efficient return on digital activations

• Practice active listening with customers, gaining insights and moving objectives forward.

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, shift priorities as required, and ultimately meet deadlines.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and exhibit follow-through.

• Problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.)

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $145,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
