Essential Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to a range of complex, impactful projects related to contaminated sites across the United States, supporting municipal, commercial, and industrial clients. You will support clients through site investigations, remediation projects, contaminant fingerprinting, source identification, and environmental cost allocation. Key responsibilities include: Analyzing, interpreting, and managing environmental data using appropriate computer applications; Creating data visualizations including maps, tables, and figures, to communicate technical findings effectively; Conducting chemical data analysis with advanced statistical methods to support environmental forensics assessments; Preparing memoranda, presentations, technical reports, and legal reports; Conducting fieldwork, including sampling, construction oversight, and remediation system O&M; Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements; Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. Fieldwork: Up to 25% Overnight travel: Up to 25% Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geology, computer science, or related field. (required) Advanced degree in environmental engineering, geology, computer science, or related field. (preferred) Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or other professional certification, if applicable. (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications Enthusiasm for building a career in environmental consulting, with an interest in data analysis, environmental forensics, and remediation strategies. At least 2 years of related experience in a related environmental field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. (preferred) Familiarity with environmental remediation regulatory requirements (e.g., CERCLA). (preferred) Proficiency in databases, visualization, and/or programming tools (Access, SQL, GIS, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.). (strongly preferred) Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings clearly. (required) Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in a fast-paced consulting environment, bringing curiosity and a problem-solving mindset to complex environmental challenges. (valuable) Proven ability to collabora e effectively within multidisciplinary teams. (required) Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (valuable) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required) Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
