OVERVIEW The ESC (External Supply Chain) Associate Manager is responsible for working closely with the Dairy Business Unit team, manufacturing partners, ITQ, and the Sourcing team to manage the external manufacturing network and execute strategic end-to-end supply chain strategies. Development gained in this role: Multi-project management; prioritization and delegation End-to-end supply chain experience Engaging and influencing a broad stakeholder base Cross functional senior leader visibility KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop strategies to provide the Dairy Business Unit with a competitive advantage and deliver long term consistent, sustainable, cost-effective supply Competitive bidding, negotiation, and contracting for co-manufacturer agreements Deliver annual Holistic Margin Management pipeline and target Execute co-manufacturer relationship management plans in partnership with key stakeholders Represent category and supply chain priorities with cross-functional partners and the business unit Provide project management and leadership to enable effective decision making and execution of supply chain initiatives Work cross functionally with appropriate stakeholder and support teams such as Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, R&D, Finance, and Legal to ensure alignment Understand the dairy processing industry landscape and industry best practices Comply with corporate and regulatory policies and accounting practices MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of Sourcing / Purchasing / Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Engineering experience Ability to lead through change Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results Relevant skills and experience in complex contract negotiations, bidding strategies, supplier management, risk management, market analysis, financial analysis, project management Interpersonal Effectiveness - ability to collaborate, influence and motivate others. Build and maintain strong relationships. Strong communication skills to adapt to different audiences. Learning Agility - Learns quickly and can apply skills to new projects or situations. Demonstrates curiosity and passion for learning and continuous improvement. PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS Manufacturing experience 5+ years of Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience Bachelor's degree in business, management, purchasing, supply chain management, or engineering Experience in the CPG (Consumer-packaged goods) or dairy industry Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS International relocation or international remote working arrangements will not be considered Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
