Our client, is seeking a Help Desk Support professional to join their team. As a Desktop Support/ Help Desk Professional in this 6 month + contract role you will provide hardware and software support. The ideal candidate will have some customer service experience, help desk or desktop (iMac) support which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Help Desk Support

Location: Minneapolis, MN area 100% onsite

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour on W-2

What’s the Job?

  • Provide onsite support for Software Maintenance & Service Requests that cannot be resolved by the Level 1 Service Desk.

  • Hardware: Installs, Moves, Adds & Changes (IMACs): for workplace (desktop, laptop and thin client):

  • An Add or Change is any modification made to the hardware or software of an authorized client or server product at an in-scope location, including the testing of the modified system. De-install and re-install any authorized Hardware, Software, or other related services as necessary to execute the IMAC including wiping the hard drive, per procedures, using provided software and tools.

  • Physically move Hardware, as agreed, related to a de-installation, an installation, a move, or a cascade within the same location.

What’s Needed?

  • Experience with Desktop support or Help desk experience

  • HS diploma or higher

  • Able to work and speak with customers

  • Open for learning
