It's fun to work at a company where people truly believe in what theyare doing!Job Description:Provide records creation, circulation, storage, tracking, transfer and retention services as defined or outlined in EPIQs service agreement with client.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesProvide records creation, circulation, storage, tracking, transfer and retention services defined or outlined in EPIQs service agreement with clientProvide support for miscellaneous requests with a can do attitude and philosophyMaintain a positive team-player mentalityAccurately communicate with client staff and EPIQ team members regarding commitments, deadlines, challenges, requests, etc.Deliver on service commitments in a timely and accurate mannerInvest proper effort and QC approach to deliver highest quality work and serviceComply with EPIQs standards of operations as set forth in the contract agreement, the site operations manual, and the employee handbookExpected to uphold the Standards of Service and best practices developed by EPIQFollow established guidelines and procedures for creating, circulating, storing, tracking, transferring and destroying client recordsMonitor and listen to clients to understand inquiries and requests in order to provide accurate information about the facilities and services with prompt assistanceTracking the circulation of files to and from client staff in Records Management System (RMS) databasePreparing inactive files for offsite storage or digitization, performing file culling activities as instructedTracking the activity of inventory sent and retrieved from offsite storage vendorsRegistration of new files in RMS to store physical records as instructedPerform regular inventory of files stored onsite in client facilities, including exception reportingAssist client staff with identifying the existence and/or location of relevant informationAssist client with file transfer activities, obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipment as instructedAssist client with retention activities, including obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipment or secure destruction as instructedAssist client with clean-up activities, including triage, categorization, and appropriate storage or disposition of contentQualifications & CharacteristicsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (4 years of college preferred)Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a professional office environment working in a file or records clerk capacityFamiliarity with FileTrail, iManage Records Manager, Autonomy Records Manager (FileSurf), LegalKey and/or similar Records Management SystemsFamiliarity with iManage Work, NetDocument, OpenTEXT DM and/or similar Document Management SystemsFamiliarity with imaging/scanning or electronic records management preferredJob RequirementsBe personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneselfFlexibility in dealing with simultaneous projectsAttention to detailExcellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skillsDetail oriented and exceptionally attentive to accuracyAbility to learn skills quicklyAbility to lift or move 40 lbs. or greaterExceptional knowledge of Microsoft productsExceptional knowledge of online project management tools/applications or ability to learn quicklyStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionAbility to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate informationIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!It is Epiqs policy to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws by making all employment decisions without unlawful regard or consideration of any individuals race, religion, ethnicity, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expressions, transgender status, sexual and other repro uctive health decisions, marital status, age, national origin, genetic information, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, veteran or family status or any other basis protected by applicable national, federal, state, provincial or local law.
