Dorsey & Whitney Legal Assistant - Tax, Trusts, and Estates in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing Tax, Trusts, and Estates department in our Minneapolis office. As a valued team member, you will provide legal administrative support in a fast-paced environment to attorneys, paralegals and business professionals. If so, we would appreciate hearing from you as we build our team. This position will be 4 days/week in our Minneapolis office. In this role, you will: Provide support to a combination of several timekeepers which may include partners, associates and paralegals. Perform document production, including creating, revising and editing documents, and finalizing format and style in compliance with appropriate requirements. Prepare documents for mailing, scanning, and faxing. Manage files and client contact databases, using strong organizational skills. Assist with reviewing daily docket and coordinate with attorneys and paralegals on upcoming dates and deadlines. Assist timekeepers with time entries. Work with document management and document assembly programs. Support other team members as needed. May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.
