We anticipate the need for one Electric Met er Sho p A s s i s tant in the Electric Met er Sho p at the Chestnut Service Center in Minneapolis, MN . The current rate of pay for this position is $26.95 hourly. The position will be posted for 10 business days September 4, 2024 - September 18, 2024 .

Job Responsibilities

1. Performs general housekeeping functions.

2. Operates forklift in loading/unloading equipment shipments and in moving inventory/stock.

3. Fills, cleans, packages, ships, and receives meter orders from other areas.

4. Delivers/picks up materials as required.

5. Completes receipt, shipment, and ordering documentation as required.

6. Works with other shop and field personnel in prioritizing and completion of work and maintenance of appropriate records and paperwork.

7. Accepts additional training required by the company to keep abreast of metering technology and automation techniques.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Must have a working knowledge of hand tools and small hand-held power tools.

• Must have a high mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds safely.

Preferred Requirements:

• Basic AC/DC knowledge required.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $26.95 per hour
