Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Operations Travel Lead to oversee and assist in the day-to-day operations related to booking and general audit of crewmember and maintenance (MX) rover hotels, ground transportation and deadhead/offline travel. Essential roles and responsibilities of an Operations Travel Lead: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Review queues and ensure travel arrangements are being made timely, while making budget conscience decisions that work within the parameters of the CBAs. Work with the agents to source and secure travel needs in the event flight operations are affected. Orchestrate adjustments to travel while working providing crew scheduling options for recovery. Make necessary changes in accordance with applicable CBA rules, company policies and procedures. Conduct ops travel personnel training and create training materials. Participate in the daily operations meeting and other weekly meetings. Answering and handling calls from crew members through the main phone line when desk agents are saturated. Audit travel queues daily, ensuring all travel needs are booked correctly. Acts to ensure all Ops Travel personnel are performing respective duties while on duty, when Senior Manager of Ops Travel is out of business. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Any other duties assigned by management. The qualifications we are looking for in an Operations Travel Lead include: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Previous experience in airline travel setting Ability to multi-task and perform under irregular operating conditions Excellent customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office PREFERRED SKILLS Associates Degree or bachelor's degree in related field Previous lead experience Sun County Airlines respects and values every employee's contribution to our business.
