Job Title Product Manager-Travel Industry Distribution Summary of the role: Navitaire, an Amadeus company, are proven innovators in the travel industry shaping the way the world thinks about travel. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to play a key role in developing, implementing new functionality, and supporting our Industry Distribution Products while providing thought leadership and sales support. This position involves close collaboration with Navitaire customers, industry organizations, Amadeus, and internal Navitaire teams. In this role you will: Develop the vision and value proposition for Navitaire Industry Distribution product offerings. Maintain product roadmaps and competitive/market positioning. Own the overall scoping of product releases, prioritizing both functional and technical enhancements to achieve the product vision for Navitaire Industry Distribution solutions. Promote the benefits of Industry Distribution products to existing and prospective Navitaire customers. Consult with industry organizations, Amadeus, internal Navitaire teams and external partners to advance Navitaire Industry Distribution product adoption and relevance. Team Management Develop and mentor Industry Distribution Product Team members. Create an open and collaborative team environment. Identify areas for team development and actively collaborate with team members to provide training opportunities through self-learning, training sessions or workshops. About the ideal candidate: Education: Bachelor's Degree or above Relevant Work Experience: Previous airline distribution experience from an IT provider or airline perspective. Previous experience managing a software product. Previous experience with agile software development. Previous experience managing a team. Willingness to embrace a flexible work schedule including work outside of regular daytime hours. Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid changes in priorities. Excellent communication and presentation skills (both virtual and in-person). Business Understanding: Airline industry knowledge. Understanding of IATA's New Distribution Capability message framework (preferred). Technical skills: Microsoft Suite of Products, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio. Agile development tools, ADO, Kanban boards, etc. Nice to Have: Knowledge of Navitaire systems. Working knowledge of travel distribution options, Edifact, Teletype, NDC, APIs.
