Avient Corporation Production Associate- 2nd shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Avient is seeking a 2nd shift Production Associate for its Minneapolis, MN. location. The Production Associate will work from verbal/written instructions for the operation of running an extruder line. The Production Associate operates as a team player to assist in meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Pay: $20 - $27 plus (based on experience) Hours: 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm $1.00 shift premium. Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision start day 1. 401K match and 100% vested day 1. Vacation and Sick time 5% MIP Bonus Essential Functions Running an extruder line; including set up & quality checks Seal, stencil and/or label containers of finished product and move to designated area 5S Cleanliness of work area Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented Environmental Health & Safety programs. Follow all safety rules. Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High School or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent, and one year related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic mathematical skills Accuracy and attention to detail Competencies Each position at Avient focuses on eight Core Competencies as a Leader of Self. Must be able to walk and use hands. Occasionally requires bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs. May occasionally be required to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds. Typically work is in a manufacturing environment where noise level is loud. Generally requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection. Exposure to outside weather conditions is routine. May be exposed to working in extreme heat and humidity. May also be exposed on occasion to dust or fumes.
