Real Estate Finance Associate - Minneapolis, MN

Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Minneapolis, MN office for a senior Real Estate Finance Associate with four to seven years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders in debt financing transactions secured by real estate, as well as additional experience in land banking, mezzanine lending, preferred equity transactions, and/or additional financing structures. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

• Experience in sophisticated real estate finance transactions is required.

• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

VISUAL ACUITY

• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
