Ameriprise Financial Retirement Product Manager (R24_0000002565) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Retirement Product Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of daily product management activities for Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans (401(k) and 403(b) plans). Additionally, you will partner with internal, cross-organizational, and third-party teams to design, lead and perform the product management controls resulting in execution of the program. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of new products and services through funded enhancements that increase ease of use, competitiveness in the marketplace, and/or improve profitability. Interact with field leaders, advisors and internal partners on problem resolution and inquiries. As well as lead complex and non-routine issue resolution with internal/external partners (TPAs, Record Keepers and Plan Sponsors) Perform as the business lead on small to medium size projects. Work with ERISA plans to provide plan-level reporting for Form 5500 Vendor Management - Third Party Administrators/Investment Managers/Record Keepers Ensure that retirement plans remain compliant with ERISA, Department of Labor, and IRS regulations. Perform regular reviews of reporting created for 401(k) and 403(b) plans to look for improved advisor grow opportunities. Lead product management processes and procedures for both 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Help to ensure that all training and marketing materials accurately reflect our products and services. Identify and recommend changes to policies and procedures and ensure compliance with policies as written. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years financial services experience Active Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days Preferred Qualifications Retirement plan and/or product management experience Experience in working with financial advisors and their staff. Ability to influence and collaborate with or lead across the organization and at all levels to drive results. Ability to think strategically, while being able to implement tactical plans. Working knowledge of Ameriprise systems and tools Excellent strategic and analytical skills to solve complex problems and identify new product solutions Knowledge and experience working with Ameriprise product suite Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environment Proven organizational skills, including managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, accuracy, and high level of personal accountability
