Position Purpose

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support sales forecasting and margin reporting and demand revenue forecasting activities as part of a Finance team responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), sales and operations planning (S&OP). In this role, you will support the Finance Manager with report generation, maintenance of financial modeling, financial planning, month end close, annual budgeting and sales forecasting.

This role is highly visible and requires strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate at different levels within the organization as well the technical and financial aptitude necessary to produce accurate reporting that is time sensitive.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and update weekly reporting requirements in support of the business

  • Update financial models with actuals using Power BI and Anaplan

  • Support and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes

  • Perform accounting, analysis, reporting and forecasting support for the Finance Manager and business partners

  • Execute reporting with a high level of detail flawlessly identifying data integrity issues and proposing process improvements

  • Take on ad hoc reporting requests and special projects as assigned by Finance leaders

Position Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years Finance experience preferably with a heavy emphasis on reporting

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred or commensurate experience in the field

  • Knowledge of accounting software (preferably Oracle)

  • Previous reporting experience including creating reports with data from multiple sources

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel specifically building Macros in Excel preferred

  • Exposure to Power BI and Anaplan software

  • Understanding of GAAP and general accounting knowledge preferred

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to independently resolve problems and the ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills (including written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
