Bio-Techne Shipping Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Position Summary:

The responsibilities of this position to support the DD Shipping Department by preparing International and Domestic orders and assemble, inspect sets of hematology product and assist in final packaging and shipping in a safe manner according to written procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembles sets and inspects sets for quality. Performs other related duties.

  • Inventory: Perform monthly inventory counts

  • Maintains documents and batch records for sets assembled

  • Assist with paperwork related to the CAP shipments

  • Coordinates with administrative support and the QC Lab for paperwork related to shipments

  • Assist with the Assembly of shipping cartons

  • Assist with shipping Retail, Distributor, OEM and Survey customer orders

  • Assists with receiving product from Product Finishing and release to Set Assembly.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required with 0 to 2 years’ experience.

  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and productively.

  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills required.

  • Knowledge of basic office equipment including computers and photocopiers preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.

  • Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • Extensive standing and occasional lifting of 50 lbs
