Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
Our client is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team in the Healthcare and Manufacturing industry. The role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and accounting support to their operations team. This involves financial reporting, variance analysis, expense review, and ensuring successful accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with operations leaders to implement efforts to reduce manufacturing and supply chain costs.
• Guarantee accurate financial planning processes and work toward achieving financial rolling forecasts.
• Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators and present financial results to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to local and global accounting standards and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Lead the process of establishing standard costs annually and create tools and reports to identify and communicate cost variances.
• Contribute to the rolling 15-month quarterly financial forecasts and guarantee adequate financial processes and controls to achieve the forecast.
• Forecast and manage expenses related to capital expenditures, operations, warehousing, and logistics.
• Oversee all accounting functions including the financial close processes, general ledger accounting, reporting, analysis, and audit.
• Work closely with the Operations team and the Director of Operations on special requests or projects.
• Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Experience with Internal Control procedures
• Ability to perform Financial Forecasting
• Knowledge of General Ledger accounting principles
• Experience in Financial Planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to keep up with latest industry trends and regulations.
