This will be a remote opportunity but does need to be located near a major airport. What you will get from us: + Opportunity to work on exciting, strategic projects in partnership with key leaders and showcase your creative, communication and technical skills. + A culture focused on ensuring the health, safety and well-being of its employees + Support and mentorship from team members who are authentic, good-natured and highly skilled + Competitive wages, incentive pay and a comprehensive package of benefits Responsibilities: + Primary focus is to drive process improvement in Manufacturing Processing and Packaging systems + Develop and deploy strategies to maximize manufacturing performance on targeted systems + Leads efforts to identify and drive cost savings projects (i.e., material optimization or waste reduction) + Creates and improves manufacturing instructions and standards to increase sustainability and reduce variation + Develops and deploys advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses + Provides technical leadership to solve problems, drive improvements in production systems and implement standards to ensure sustainment + Builds technical skills within manufacturing teams to drive out losses across processing and packaging systems + Maintains a central library of technical documentation to provide standardization and facilitate best practice sharing + Serves as a subject matter expert in the assigned technologies and platforms + Responsible to conduct yourself and those you lead in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct Qualifications: + Years of Experience: 5+ years, + Education: Bachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred + Experience in Food Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods. + Experience with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations. + Leadership of structured problem-solving approaches such as Lean, Six-Sigma, or TPM. + Development and use of statistical models and data analytics (Corporate). + Ability to travel up to 50-75% as required This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job.
