The teaching specialist will teach introductory physics discussion sections and/or labs. 100% The duties will involve holding office hours, grading tests, homework and/or laboratory reports, organizing and preparing online course material, proctoring tests, and meeting with an instructional team to coordinate the class. It is also possible the teaching specialist will supervise beginning teaching assistants. Other duties of a similar scope as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching specialist positions require a B.S. or M.S. degree in physics or a related discipline. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Teaching experience with introductory physics or related courses will be viewed favorably.
