[Job Order in Connection with H-2B Application:

[Stein Construction, Inc[. headquartered 201 39th St. SE, Minot, ND 58701, phone number: 701-837-8013, is looking to fill four (4) Construction Laborers positions from 10.01.2024 - 11.30.2024. This is for full-time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include Workers will perform job duties related to concrete/construction winterization/closing and winter care, such as ensuring worksite grounds are clear of snow and ice before beginning work due to winter temperatures. Workers will remove ice and apply salt when weather conditions are freezing; aside from winterization duties, workers will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Workers will operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Workers will measure and lay out commercial buildings. Workers will mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers. Workers will tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or other equipment. Workers will position and dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Workers will smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using rakes, darbys, hand floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Workers will perform a variety of concrete finishing duties such as forming, raking, troweling, cutting, shoveling, placing, and tying rebar, and curing. Workers will operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement. Workers will position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes. Workers will tie rebar, position aluminum wall forms, and place all concrete. Workers will unload materials, clean, and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and aluminum wall forms, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Special requirements include: Must have six (6) months of related experience. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yards throughout the day.

[The pay rate is $25.25 per hour with overtime available at $37.88 per hour, based on hourly rate, returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates. 40 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, 8am - 3pm. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 201 39th St. SE, Minot, ND 58701 and will service clients within the West North Dakota nonmetropolitan area BLS/MSA, including the counties of Bottineau County, Burke County, McHenry County, McLean County, Mercer County, Mountrail County, Pierce County, Renville County, Sheridan County, Ward County. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

[Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Housing is offered to the employee at a $115.00 weekly payroll deduction. The offered housing is optional to employees. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with a other employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
