Senior Electrical EngineerProfessional engineering firm in Missoula, MT, is looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their growing team. Their approach to all of their projects as a single building system allows them to leverage the latest 3D design and analytical technologies to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations and define excellence.The Senior Electrical Engineer will take a leadership role in managing projects, providing expert design solutions, and mentoring a team of designers and engineers. This firm specializes in consulting, designing, and delivering innovative engineering solutions for clients of every size. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC electrical systems, in both commercial and residential applications. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for managing a team of engineers while fostering a collaborative work environment.Why you want this position:Competitive compensation, up to $130,000/year, depending on experienceWork schedule - hybrid, in office or remote optionsHealthy work / life balance and flexible schedule3 day weekend every other weekOwnership opportunitiesFull benefits to include medical, dental, vision, long and short-term disability, life insurance, health savings or FSA account options, 401K with company match, bereavement leave, and paid jury duty3 weeks of PTO year 1 and 9 paid holidays!Essential Functions and Duties:Leading and producing technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models that meet our specifications and client needsPerform and/or evaluate all appropriate calculations (e.g. distribution panel loading, short circuit, voltage drop, conduit and conductor size, and cable tray fill) required for the electrical design packages and verify all applicable codes have been incorporatedEffectively lead and mentor the Electrical Engineering staff with an emphasis on employee growth, project success, and overall performanceApply standard design techniques and procedures, exercising judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to design concepts and ensure quality control by complying with company and team design and CAD standardsCoordinate needs, designs, and develops an understanding with other design disciplinesPerform field verifications/site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packagesQualifications:10 years experience in HVAC electrical for both commercial and residential requiredB.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering educationAn Active Professional Engineer licenseSolid knowledge of AutoDESK REVIT modeling system preferredKnowledge of or experience with National Electric Code (NEC) If interested and qualified for this exciting new role, email resume to Amy@lcstaffing.com or call 406-407-7988 for more details. 40522www.lcstaffing.com
