Position Summary This position is responsible for the Children's Minnesota Foundation gift data management, while also serving as a contact/liaison at the Foundation for Children's Minnesota's finance department. The role has three broad responsibilities: Gift Operations; Liaison to Finance/Gift Officers/Donors; and Data Management for Giving Information. This position works closely with members of the Operations, Engagement, and Philanthropy teams with a high-level of proactive customer service. The Manager of Gift Operations oversees the daily activities of gift processing at the Foundation, including mail processing, gift entry into database, receipt production, and collaboration with the Finance Office. Oversee the Foundation's lockbox and bank deposit processes. Continually evaluate available technology and processes to ensure the systems used within gift processing meet the needs of the organization. This position helps to ensure the Foundation's donors are acknowledged and receipted timely and accurately and that data is collected and maintained to assist in development-oriented activities. Ability to work on-site 2 days/week for oversight of gift entry work. Position reports to the VP of Prospect Development and Data Services. *Hybrid work. On-site 2 days/week, including occasional team meetings, donor visits, events and tours. DHS Background Study Required? No License/Certification/Registration required? No Education: *Bachelor's degree or related experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge or skills required. Experience: *4-6 years of gift processing and/or accounts receivable experience with a proven record of accurate results; Experience with non-profit database systems helpful. *Minimum 3 years of team management experience. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Experience managing gift processing, acknowledgement, receipting, the ability to bridge donor and financial accountability. *General understanding of current state and federal giving regulations related to nonprofit fundraising. *Strong proficiency with a relational, fundraising database/CRM, preferably Blackbaud Raiser's Edge. *Familiarity with third-party fundraising software, such as Import-o-matic. *Proven ability to clearly communicate, coordinate, delegate, prioritize, lead, multitask, negotiate, organize, track and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. *Organized, high attention to detail, with strong follow through, and excellent customer service skills. The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs.
