Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. Based in Modesto, California, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks ranging from processing invoices to managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the process of accounts payable, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations

• Conduct regular audits of invoices to maintain financial integrity

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook, to perform daily tasks and manage data

• Leverage your knowledge of Oracle Cloud for optimal performance, if possible

• Review and process employee expense reimbursements

• Set up new vendors in the system and enter their W-9s

• Utilize your 10-key skills for data entry tasks

• Provide exceptional customer service, including managing the front counter and answering phones

• Ensure the accuracy of all data entry tasks, particularly those related to accounts payable

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in data entry with a focus on numeric entries

• Demonstrable 10-key skills are required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

• Ability to work independently and within a team
